Looks like some of you think that the Italian team isn't skilled or talented at all. They are a bunch of corrupts who play like sissies, pay the referees and cheat. Now, you can cheat/dive/fake to get a penalty and score a goal. But how do you fake a save? How does Gianluigi Buffon (whom I'm pretty sure you don't consider talented and skilled, let alone one of the best goalies in the world) cheat? Come on, haters of the Italian team, surprise me! The most imaginative answer will get points.

Now I am not a fan of Italian Football, have watched some players fall, dive etc. just to get a penalty. But a goaltender and no matter what people may say abouth Gianluigi , the bottom line is to get to the World Cup ,you need to be good and as for cheating, I have both played and coached Football and have NEVER seen a goalie been accused of cheating, just not possible.

Hehehe, I don't like the Italian team at all, but I will admit that they do have talent - and to be perfectly honest I think the match today was pretty fair. And with that, I will tell you the secret to Buffon's talent: he harnessed alien powers that were beamed from a nearby satellite to deflect all the goal kicks. Of course, if you read FIFA regulations you will see that alien interference is specifically prohibited, but since it is so difficult to detect in Germany due to atmospheric changes, he got away with it.

Good question!
Gosh, how many ppl talks without knowing what are they talking about!
Buffon, with Cech and Dida is considered by the soccer-people around the world one of the best (if not the best) goalkeepers in the world!
Let them hate the Italians: we are one of the 4 Teams left in the World Cup... even a defeat with Germany (i doubt so) it will not change the fact that we arrived in the semi-finals.

Buffon is talented, but is lucky as well, and the two posts and the other two saves from cannaaro if I'm not mistaken on the line shows all

Italians are not only cheaty (referring to grosso obviously) but are also lucky

Again the soccer_dumb talked: Do you not undertstand that apart form arrogant, you are also a stupid idiot who speaks only sh**?

buffon has shown why he's the superb he tries so complicated besides the undeniable fact that the protection retains putting him in harms way look at Zambrotta WTF!!! i imagine Italy in person-friendly words lost and Drew because the midfield and back 4 performed weak football Buffon became strong and the forwards tried besides the undeniable fact that the back 4 that's in many circumstances our tower of capacity has damaged
