Can I suggest to you that you work yourself up to 100 to 150 pushups in 7 days, but by starting out with maybe thirty five or fourty. And even if that aint no thing, then do fourty for the first two days. Then say maybe sixty for two days. And so on.

To answer your question, I think you would be happier with the results if you did Build up in reps, and also have a more lasting effect as well. If you are a younger person, it is possible to achieve outstanding results in just a week. The secret is to build on what is already there instead of going through the process of taking what is already there and tearing it down and then re building it.

pushups are done to strengthen and develop the arms .it's weight lifting exercises you need to be doing to expand your chest muscles and biceps and triceps .join a gym where you will get all the help you need

It depends what you are doing now. Probably it will make you look more muscular, but a lot of this will be because the muscles are inflamed from over-use.
