no.....it doesn't have to be that way.....if you are comfortable with YOUR behavior in the relationship (i.e. not ashamed or anything), then you have nothing to regret.....get back out there! If you are ashamed or fell that you were the cause of the trouble, then learn from it and get back out there anyway!

No, it doesn't have to be, but often it is and it's understandable to be that was after being beaten. It's not really bravery that makes victims of abuse /not/ be so distant after being abused, but it is something. And most people have emotional problems, whether small or large, after being beaten.

GET OUT!!! I always thought that my ex would change just bc he said he would- HA! You deserve better and need to get away!! No man will change no matter what they say.... One time is the last time. Thats all there is to it. Get out and take care of yourself. Period.
