The Ring. At the time it was released I found it the most disturbing movie that I had watched in a long time. More disturbing ones have come out since then but The Ring seemed to be the beginning of a slew of them and renewed the genre.

No, but if you like watching disturbing movies, I would recommend Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Grudge, When a Stranger Calls, and Exorcism of Emily Rose.

Clockwork Orange
Seven
Jacob's Ladder
Blue Velvet
Reservoir Dogs
The Piano Teacher (disturbing in a way only a French movie could be)
The Ring
The Grudge (ridiculous plot but shocking imagery)
The Fly (1980's version)
In the Mouth of Madness
Anything by Takashi Miike
There's also one starring Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister as a serial killer, but I can't remember the name of it.

Not particularly, but I do appreciate well-made films.
If you like disturbing movies, you'll probably want to watch everything directed by David Lynch. He's a gifted director, but don't expect to get much sleep after seeing his movies.
Off the top of my head, "From Hell," "Se7en," and "Don't Look Now," are also pretty unsettling.

Hostel or The Hills Have Eyes......you gotta see that. It probably the most disturbing, bloody, gruesome movie Ive ever seen. It even beats Hostel, and if you havent seen Hostel, rent it today. It sure gives you something to think about.
