I ahve been trying with foodcloroing . . . . but just experimenting with it!!!!

Well, you know that you have to tie the item of clothing with, like, rope or else put rubber bands around parts of it, right? Then, if you want all one color, you put the whole thing in a bucket or sink or something with your dye. Rit dye is good. If you want multiple colors, you have to dye it one section at a time. I have no idea how well food coloring works in the long run.

Try looking up www.dharmatrading.com - they have a free catalog and give good advice in the catalog about this and other ways to color clothes. There is an easier way than rit dye which involves boiling. for the new dyes all you have to do is presoak the clothes and then just squirt the dyes onto them - way easier than before - they usually have kits at local fabric stores and walmart - but you'll get a lot more ideas of what can be done just by visiting this site.

You can buy tye-dye kits @ Wal-Mart,Hobby Lobby etc..

THOUGHT----Go to the library--go to the card files and look under hobbies and crafts--choose one of the two hundred books and check it out---read it--study it--do it
