You may have unwanted fluid discharge through your "private." Since I am not a doctor, the best advice I can give you is "go see a doctor."

It depends on what the odor is. If you're female, which you seem to be, female genitals do have an odor sometimes that is natural. However, an unnatural--or strong, offensive--odor can mean a vaginal infection. There is one vaginal infection that actually smells worse *after* you bathe. You should get checked out by your doctor if you have a strong, offensive odor. If it's just mild, it's totally normal, and there's really no way to get rid of it. You can cover it up sometimes with douching or feminine washes, but too much douching is bad for your vaginal health.

It could mean several things. The most common reasons would be an infection, an increase in the bacterial levels, or increased sweating in that general area. While none of these are potentially life threatening, there are i'm sure other factors that could be leading to your condition. I would suggest scheduling an appointment with your physician for a check up and let them know about your concern.
Hope this helps!

If your privet smells, it may not be a privet hedge at all, but a common boxwood which does have a noticeable odor. You may have smelled common boxwood at historic homes. Modern landscapers are more likely to use Japanese boxwood, which is very similar in appearance and does not smell.

My first thought would be yeast infection. If it's a strong smell and also itchy, it very well may be, though I can't say for sure as I'm not a doctor. If it hurts when you urinate, it could be a bladder infection. They generally lead to one another, so you might have both if you have one. Again, can't say, but yogurt with active cultures and a lot of water/cranberry juice might help until you can reach a doctor.

Don't use soap to wash your cookie, use a feminine wash like Summer's Eve. Soap disturbs the natural ph in your body. Sometimes I will also use shampoo if I am out of the other. shampoo is also ph balanced. Wear cotton underwear so your skin can breath. We all have some kind of odor. Some men actually like it. If the odor is new, like you never noticed it before, go see your OBGYN.

Humans have a unique scent. If you have any concerns or feel that this is not normal go see a doctor or try to douche.Try using a more softer soap.Sometimes, strong soaps disturb the human body.Oh,and wear cotton underwear so that your private can breathe. This may work.

You could have an infection; you could need to take baths as you are not washing the area effectively and need a good soaking; or you could be wiping yourself improperly when using the bathroom, leaving residue that becomes odorous.
