oh God yes! I think if anyone said they never did feel ugly they'd be lying! Some days are better than others... we all go through our ups and downs. I feel ugly when my house is a mess (i know that sounds weird), certain times when I'm on my period or if I gain a little weight. But, it's normal to feel like that, as long as you're not thinking you're ugly every day... just do something to pamper yourself-- get a manicure, hair done, clean, spend some alone time, bubble bath, etc. to help re-boost your confidence ;]

It is difficult to feel pretty when you are bombarded through the media with images of what "beautiful " is supposed to be. Newspaper, magazines, TV, movies, and even toys would have us believing that we should all be looking like Jennifer Anniston or Jessica Alba or whoever the starlet of the moment is. The theme is young, size 2, with good skin, good abs, great biceps, white teeth - the truth is that these women are airbrushed and made up and spend hours w/ physical trainers - it's hard to keep up with them because we just don't have that kind of time to devote on our outer selves. Plus they are not the norm.

So I say - spend more time developing your inner beauty and being healthy - concentrate on making yourself and those you love happy and your beauty will come through regardless if you are young, or size 2 or blonde or whatever.

All girls feel this way, but they are usually wrong. I feel that way a lot, but as corny as it may be, you have to remember that it does't matter what you look like on the outside. I always feel like the ugly duckling when I go out with friends because they always attract guys and I don't feel like I could even compare to them. I always look at it another way when this happens to me. I decide that instead of trying to act beautiful on the outside, be beautiful on the inside and it will show on the ouside. Just be confident in yourself and you will look and feel more beautiful than ever.

I did. Let me tell you. When i was younger, i never thought myself to pretty, just plain, never no one told me, outside family i was pretty, so i just didnt think so.
The point is that almost a year ago i got sick, i am allergic to Vitamin B, (crazy, right?), and it causes acne to me. But the fact is that i felt like a crocodile. Wasnt nice. Ok, then i was deeply depressed, but i began looking at my old pictures, when my face wasnt crocodile-like, and thought I was pretty, but not anymore. But i got a great skin doctor who cured me, and now, even my scars are disappearing, but i learned that one tends to overlook the cuteness in oneself until you lose it.
Sooo... My advice is to find your cute spots, you might have the most wonderful nose, or eyes or teeth, or something. ok, then make it shine, or make it your center.
Learn to like yourself. I have learned to do so. Now i notice i am very good looking, and for that, i began to take more care of my face, skin, etc., and i have seen the improvement.
Love yourself, like yourself.
Also, helps a lot if you are fit.

Bottom line:

Like yourself.
Be confident about you.
Ask your family what part of you is cute, and enhance it.

Ugliness, like Beauty, comes from the inside out.

I am confident of the beauty of the Lord Jesus inside of me, and so I don't feel ugly 'cause I know that God said in His Word that He made me in His image.

Before I became born again, I did feel ugly...because my attitude was ugly.

When I noticed I couldn't see my feet standing up because my belly has grown in pregnancy i just started bawling. I felt extremely ugly and fat. lol yep mainly due to hormones but what can i say. You just need to realize until you feel cute, pretty etc. about yourself nothing anyone says is going to help you feel prettier.

Yes, I sure have. Thats weird you asked this because I just purchased a book about I love me- I love me not. It's on self-esteem and more. When my self-esteem is low, I feel horrible about myself, and on the good days when I'm confident it's a great feeling. You ought to look into this, or something simular. Hey, it's worth it.
