Freedom has a price anyone who looks for freedom must protect the country, protect the rights given to us, follow the laws, and respect the rights of others. Freedom is never free it comes with responsibilities never to cross the line an take another persons rights or freedoms away. Protecting, voting, teaching, and learning are all prices for freedom. We send our people to pay the greatest price. My mother always said everything has a price some prices are higher then others.

It doesn't matter whether there should be a price for freedom because there has always been a price for freedom. Whether people are willing to pay the price or not is another question. The price for freedom in the past has been high but it has no dollar amount and could probably never be give one either.

Inherently, the question you ask answers itself - there is always a price for freedom. No one living in a free society can expect to do so without some form of sacrifice. That sacrifice is many things to many people, but they all have the same philosophy, that no one shall live with such restrictions that life is not worth living.

It not only should have a price, it does. Fortunately, it is usually not a monetary price, but one of time, attention, and participation. If you do not pay this price, you will eventually lose your freedom, because others will take it away from you while you weren't watching.

Of course; if not, it would be worthless.
Hundreds of thousands of brave men and women have fought for this country's freedom over the last 200 some odd years. Many people have sacrificed their lives so I can sit here peaceably in my home and give you the respect and space to express yourself with out reservation.
There are millions of people in other countries who are not free to say what they think or believe. They may not have the freedom to work and purchase what they please and could not afford the luxury of sitting in front of a computer, bored and looking for entertainment.
I count myself as extremely blessed to have the privilege to respond to your question.
Thank you.

What does "should" mean? My dad (who actually was a wise old man ) used to say, "You can do anything you want in this life. Just don't complain when it comes time to pay the price." Being free is one of those things. You pay for what you get, and you get what you pay for.
