no one gives free. there is bravenet, geocities, but all dont have a personal domain name. I have heard of msn providing one for free provided their ads feature on each of the page.

If you want your own domain, not a third-level one with someone else, you're going to have to pay for it. There are no free second-level domains since all domain registrars charge for their service.

I register all of my domains with GoDaddy.com. Click here for their homepage: http://www.godaddy.com and look around. Their prices are some of the lowest on the net. I've been doing business with them exclusively for about 7 years.
