The black fluid is sooty water, nothing to be concerned about.
As for loss of power, pay someone to tune it up for you.

Lets check a few things. First, check the fluid in the radiator to see if you have lost any. Second, check the oil for any water oil mix. Note: condensation from your exhaust does not indicate a blown head gasket. If your car is really hard to turn over to start, that might me an indication that you have lost the timing chain/belt. If you are losing power up or down a hill, it could indicate a fuel flow problem. If you could be more specific, I might have a better answer. Later.........

Could be a head gasket. Water into cylinder equals power loss and black liquid.

black smoke usually means the fuel mix is too rich, i dont know if black fluid can mean the same thing

There could be something wrong with your fuel injector. Its not good though, so go to get it checked out ASAP. I know from past experience that if you wait too long, it will only get worse!!

Could be water in the fuel, clogged fuel filter, plug wires or plugs, or gremlins...
