I'm from argentina, and Italy has been my #2 pick for winning the world cup this year since before the cup even started. They got off to a slow start, but showed the kind of stuff we expected from them in the Ukraine game. I'm sticking with my Italian prediction because In the Argentina vs Germany game, I didn't see anything good from the German side. Argentina dominated them in all aspects of the game. The one thing I know from watching that game is that Lehman is a beast when it comes to penalty kicks. Though i will warn Italy to beware of the German 12th man, Mr. Referee. He was in my opinion the MVP in the Germany vs Argentina game, and may prove a crucial factor in the Italian game as well. As long as the game doesn't go into penalty kicks, I give Italy the edge.

Sorry, but don't think its going to come down to Germany and Italy. Germany will beat England in the semi's, as will Brazil over Italy. England and Italy will battle it out for third while Germany and Brazil go for the cup or second.

germany. because they have the better nerves, are more determined than ever to win, are extremely stubborn, lucky and above all: they have smelled blood like we say here. it means that they their team has won so many matches against good teams that they feel invincible. and the spectators are their 12th man on the field. i dont think that they necessarely play better but they always have the luck on their side i.e. penalty shooting against argentina. penalty shooting says strictly nothing about the quality of a team but only about their strength of nerves and luck. personally i hope that they will lose against italy!

Depends on how Germany Play cause today argentina had them stumped and if it wasnt for the coaches stupid subs then things might have been diffrent. If they attack early then Germany but if the play like today and the Italian coach dosent make any stupid subs then its the 3rd place playoff for germany.
