Eat jello or take gelatin pills and take vitamins because when you see a little white speck on the lower part of the nail (not toward the end) is a way your body saying, "you need vitamins or eat healthy".

I take a pre-natal vitimin- You can get at a health food store or online. It has many vitimins and minerals that pregnant women need, but they are also very good for you skin, nails, and hair.

gelatin. You can get plain gelatin to add into warm drinks. It takes a while for it to start to come into effect, but it DOES work!
