or even call your auto parts store to see if can help.

zipperoni is on the right track. get the book on it, get some heavy wire, some eyelet connectors, butt connectors, and probably the wireing connector that goes to the alternator itself. study the wiring diagram for your car well...if you can hook up a stereo, car and home, you should have the ability to DIY
