first time waxing, you'l have to do it again in 2weeks. after that its usually 4 to 5 weeks. your hair will grow back lighter and softer each time you wax. which is great because after a few times of waxing and your hair has growin back, your legs dont look or feel hairy as oppose to shavin! it takes alot longer than 4 waxes before your hair stops growing altogether, it just happens over time if you keep gettin waxed and not shaving. highly recommend waxing, smoother for longer, lasts longer and your hair grows back finer!! how bad!

It depends on what you are waxing and how much hair there is. Waxing will decrease the amount of hair in a given area, and over time the hair may stop growing back at all. But this will take a long time. I have been getting my eyebrows waxed about 6 times a year for about 5 years now, and some hair still grows back. Though, with every waxing the amount of hair that grows back is less and less.

Waxing decreases hair growth, but it won't stop hair growth completely. On how often you need to wax depends on the thickness of your hair. Maybe if you are that concerned the first time you wax you should go to a good beauty salon were they will be able to give you a one 2 one consultation and answer any questions to your concerns.

Well it depends on what you are waxing. If it is your eyebrows, it lasts about 2-3 wks, and same with lip. If it is your bikini area you probably have to get it done more often. It doesnt stop hair growth after the 3 or 4th time otherwise people would not keep coming back! I love getting waxed, I do my eyebrows and lip. I went to beauty school, and loved to wax people. Try it, it wont ruin anything if you try it! It might hurt a little but it is so worth it!

waxing does not stop hair growth but the hair will grow back finer. the first time you wax an area it will hurt so take a couple of painkillers half and hour before treatment to help. start with a lower leg wax and see how you like it. regrowth depends on the person. hair usually has a six week cycle and you have to let them grow a bit to get good results. i have mine re-waxed at four weeks as they grow faster. i find that shaving gives me rashes and waxing doesn't but you can get what is called 'in growing hair' from it which can be treated with tea tree oil. your legs go red and blotchy after waxing which fades within 24 hours but you mustn't go sun bathing or on a sunbed before or after. ring a beauty clinic and have a chat with them about it.

Waxing your legs lasts about two to three weeks depending on the coarseness of your hair. Hair re-growth does slow after waxing, but not right away. It takes about 20 years to stop hair growth entirely.
Waxing is better than shaving, but is more painful and time consuming. An alternate that provides similiar results (less hair, smoother legs, hair growth stops after prolonged period of time) is Nair or Veet (my personal favorite).
Don't wax anywhere else! Use less harsh methods like creams or bleaching for upper lip, underarms and chest.

waxing does not effect ur hair growth. what it does is that it pulls the hair from the root therefore it takes alot of time for the hair to grow back. ur hair growth is inherited from ur parents. maybe ur mother can help u. waxing thrice or even 4 times does not stop hair growth. if u want to wax then i say go for it and do not be afraid. trust me nothing will happen.

Waxing will not stop your hair growth.
The hair will grow back softer.
It hurts like heck. Especially if you do it in private areas.
One drawback is that you will have to let it grow in some before you can wax it so that the wax has something to stick to. I could never do it for my eyebrows. You look so unkept until you go for your next appointment. Plucking/tweezing is the way to go.

hair grows at the same speed no matter what you do, your hair won't stop comming through if you do wax, to stop your hair from growing you have to go to a beauty salon and get a course of electrolysis, this can be very expensive. i dont know where you want wax but please take after care advice, leg's moisturise, eyebrows upper lip use an anti-bacterial gel like witch hazel.

I have been waxing my eyebrows for years and they still keep growing back. I have heard people tell me that waxing your legs decreases the thickness of the hair that grows back, so it is finer.
