Leaving Las Vegas . . . all the way. It has Nicholas Cage and Elizabeth Shue. It's about a guy who goes to Las Vegas solely to kill himself by drinking himself to death. It's out of control. One of those great movies you only watch once, maybe twice in your entire life. Or check out When a Man Loves a Woman. That's about relationships, and Meg Ryan is a total lush.

actually the best one that they show at aa meetings is Days of Wine and Roses with Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick,it was dead on about alcoholics and also showed the beginning of aa.
