yes. the redskins and joe gibbs is a run offense first and they will try to control the ball with the run game since their defense is tops in the nfl.

He could. He won't. He is very good, but they have too many good recievers they need to spread the ball around to which will leave him with less carries. He could lead the league in both but more likely to be rushing yards. Their offense is too good for him to be the leading rusher though because he has 3 good recievers and a great tight end. They need to get the ball to those 4 more and he will not get enough carries to lead the league. I do, however, think he will lead in average yards per carry this season. Tomlinson will take Yds and TDs.

Neither. Nothing made me happier than Portis leaving Denver. Even though we had nobody nearly as physically talented to replace him. The guy is an arrogant jerk, a 'me' guy. Total opposite of a team guy. I predict Portis, for the entire season, gets 26 yds, 84 fumbles, and throws 35 interceptions! ;)

TDs = No
Yards = Possibly, but there are 4-5 better backs than Portis out there.

lol...get your facts straight ladder_to_fire...the redskins new O-coordinator was with the chiefs and not the rams lol.
i don't think he'll lead in either but i think he will definitely have a career year and probably be 2nd-3rd in yrds or tds. redskins added some weapons at WR and saunders (new coordinator) will bring the same throw the ball down the field/run the ball that he did at KC. there will be huge holes for portis. redskins will win the nfc east now that they will finally have an offense to compliment their D.

I don't see him leading the league in anything... there just isn't enough footballs to go around. You have Antwan Randle El, Santana Moss, Brandon Lloyd, James Trash, David Patten, Christian Fauria, and Lidell Betts. Portis will be very productive as usual, but they'll have to spread it around too much for him to have league leading numbers.

If their new offensive coordinator can do for the Skins what he did for the Rams, then TDS!
