Depends on your definition of the sky. The "sky" or portion of the atmosphere that deflect the blue wavelength of light is in a sphere around the earth about 350km high. So if you look North, South, East or West the sky never ends, but if you look straight up it ends and space begins at about 234 miles up.

Do you mean the atmoshpere? It thins out the higher you go until for all intents and purposes it ends.
If you mean the universe and the stars then they only extend to the boundaries that God has set when He created this universe.
"And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth." And it was so. And God made the two great lights--the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night--and the stars. And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, Genesis 1:14-17
