Sweetie you need to go to the DR. he will draw a blood test called a BHCH or QHCG. This is a test that will show how much of the pregnancy hormone you have. He will want you to come back in a few days and have another one drawn. this will tell him if the hormone is increasing or decreasing( stable pregnancy or miscarriage). The test usually runs around $60.00 to $70.00 if insurance is a problem. If you call your ob-gyn office they may let you do the tests first before you actually see the doctor. Just let them know you missed your period and would like to come in for a test. This is the only way for you to truly know what is going on with your body.

Use your first morning urine while taking an over-the-counter pregnancy test. This is when your hormone levels are the highest, therefore easiest to read and achieve more accurate results. If the test still says negative, a visit to your OB/GYN would be in your best interests so you can discuss your personal history and case with trained professionals. There are a numerous amount of possibilities, some being minor, some being very serious such as a tubal pregnancy. The only way to know for sure is to visit with a Dr.
Good luck honey. God Bless

Well, in all seriousness.. sometimes you can have a period while you're pregnet. And if you took an over the counter pregnency test, doesn't mean 100% that it will give you the right answer. I know this from experience. With my second son it gave me 2 negatives. And yes, it might have been to early to show up for you but I doubt it. You're best bet would be to got the the doctor and it might be you have to get a blood test. And sometimes there are other factors that can cause some of the things you are experiencing. Hope that helps some.. Good luck.

i did the same thing in june of last year and i wonder if maybe you didn't just begin a new relationship or a new job maybe and also you might want to wait until next month to take another test. If you get very worried go to your Dr. and get a blood test. It could be something very different.

a negative home pregnancy test means nothing. I took one that was negative. I noticed some spotting so I thought I was getting my period......I now have a 4yr old son. The best test is a blood test. If you are pregnant, it may take a little longer for enough of the hcg hormone to build up in your urine. See your gyne.

The best thing I can tell you is to make an appointment to see a doctor. They can tell you exactly whats wrong with you and you will find out 4sure if you are pregnant or not, (blood test don't lie). From there you can plan on what to do and you'll have peace of mind!! Good Luck!! (if you are having a baby).
Be Blessed!!

you're more likely to have a test be a false negative than a false positive. you should take another test after your missed period. good luck.

yes it could be. maybe you should see a doctor. they tend to be alot more accurate than a home pregnancy test.
