Everytime I come here I have to immediately run anti-spyware, (adware), when I leave. Not just one or two items are tracking me but at least 20. No way would I come here without the anti-spyware software installed.

Spyware are programs that are actually local on your computer. Unless you are talking about popups, you need to do a spyware check on your computer. If the problem is popups, if you use firefox as a browser, it has an excellent free built in pop-up blocker. If spyware is the problem, google "free spyware removal," and you should pretty quickly be able to stumble upon a free program. I think Ad-Aware is one of them.

What you are seeing is tracking cookies, small text files that advertisers use to send you targeted ads based on your surfing habits. they are not harmful to your computer.

For example, if you were to surf to www.ford.com, www.toyota.com and www.BMW.com, well the next time you surfed the web, you would see a lot of automoble ads as these advertising guys would figure you were in the market for a new car! Scary? Yes. But less scary than those keychain discount swipes that everyone uses at the food stores. Those things keep a record of every item that you purchase.

Big business tracking people for advertising purposes is just an unforturnate part of life in the 2000s

I have found exactly the opposite, I find no spy ware on this sight at all. After leaving this sight, even if I am on for 3 or 4 hours, many times I run my anti spy ware software, and I have No critical objects tracking me, at all. Are you sure your firewall is up, and working properly. It is possible, you have some other problem, going on here.
