I bought sheets that were made in Turkey. Says 100% Modal. What does modal mean? Thanks

Modal rocks!!! All of our sheets and some of my clothing is made from it!
Modal is a natural fabric made from fiber derived from Beech trees. It is soft, durable and machine washable.

Nope What you need to do is get a lot of experience shooting with many different photographers. You will build your own portfolio from the images resulting from those shooting sessions. Look for photographers in your are that shoot TFP sessions and whose work you like. After you have had a few sessions with about six or seven photographers over the next year or so, you should have enough amazing photos that show your different looks to put together a 10 to 12 image book (what we call portfolios). You can 1) find local photographers and 2) get an idea of what kind of photos you may want, buy looking on Model Mayhem or One Model Place. You need a lot of face time in front of the camera and experience working with many different photographers. To tell if this agency (Model Direct) is the real deal, they should 1) let you supply some of your own photos and 2) NOT charge you for putting together your composite or book. After all, they are going to use them to promote you as one of their models. My guess is that they are more of a modeling school and thus charge for their services ... agencies never charge the model, however they do manage them, so you probably have to sign at least a 6 month exclusive agreement
