I know they didn't renew her contract and she's known since April, Do you think that Barbara Walters is responsible,or am I missing something??

I don't watch" the view " but I saw Starr's interview on Larry King Live. I guess there are two sides to every story...I heard her say something about freebies for her wedding but I really didn't know what that was about...I really am interested in your opinions. Have her and Barbara Walters been feuding? Did the weight loss change Starr...or is Barbara Walters a diva who is hard to get along with....or is it a combination of all three? or something else entirely? I mean, these folks got along great for many years and then this. Why has her popularity been going down?

I think the real reason, Star Jones contract wasn't renewed, was that the public was sick of her. She seems so full of herself. Everyone is sick of her know it all attitude, toward everyone, and everything.

I heard on the radio that she was already leaving because her contract was not renewed. But then on Tuesday she said something like "I feel like now is the time to announce that I'm not returning to the show next season because god has better plans for me... yadayada." So the next day she wasn't there. Guess they told her to clean out her office. I guess the whole deal was that she wasn't supposed to say anything about it. She WAS fired and on tv she said that it was her decision to leave the show.

I think it was a good business decision, whoever made it. I don't like her at all. Espically after that stunt of begging for freebies for her wedding! She looks freakish after all that surgery she's had. I can't wait to Rosey O'Donnell gets on the show! I saw on CNN a few minutes ago that Brandy is filling in for her next week.

the view deceided not to renew her contract so they gave her til the end of the year to find another job and they would say she was leaving becuz of that job. instead she told ppl that she was getting fired and they kicked her off
