Love that show! Maya's my favorite.
I had the same question about Persia White. Turns out that she was not *originally* cast as Lynn, but has played Lynn since the bits of the first episode were reshot.....
According to wikipedia:
"The original cast of Girlfriends included actresses Christina Cox and Leslie Silva in the roles of Lynn and Toni respectively, who left the production, because of which some parts of the first episode were reshot to include Persia White and Jill Marie Jones. Girlfriends was picked up for a full season after the ratings success of the first thirteen episodes, according to rave reviews about the show's content in 2000.
Very little story elements of the unaired pilot were later changed. Notable examples are the fact that Joan is preparing to make partner at her law firm; she hires Maya as her assistant; and her friends set out to find her a man."

I'm a girl and occasionally watched porn like gang bang and three some, and obviously I won't what that to happen in real life, its just a fantasy as all you said. And actually it's something private. I have a boyfriend and hi is amazing in bed and I try to do almost everything he wants so I'm completely satisfied by him in"normal" sex but I think you should not be worried at all. Yes she has always played the character of Lynne Searcy on Girlfriends. However, you may have noticed that she's had some plastic surgery during the course of the show. That's why she looks so different now compared to the beginning of the show's run. She's definitely had a nose job, and I heard that she got her cheeks and chin done too.
