Monkeys are wild animals. They are not domesticated. They don't belong in little cages or in cute outfits. They should be free to roam and live. Monkeys have a society and family structures that are much like ours. They have also been observed to use sticks and twigs as tools. An animal this sophisticated does not deserve to be a pet.
Tell me? Do you always get what you "totally" want? It sounds like you do.

There are a couple reasons. For one thing, they can be wild and unpredictable, and are therefore sometimes even dangerous. Another is because they still undomesticated animals and same as the first reason. They are also messy. How would you like to train a monkey to the litter box??? *shudder* . . . .

b/c they're wild animals and desrve to be left in the wild where they belong or handled by professionals. if you want to deal with monkeys and animals you should look into zoolology. you would like that. you have to be good in science, though. especially biology, so if you're in high school take all three sciences and work your butt off and maybe you can work at a zoo as a volunteer or at least in an animal shelter. good luck.

because they are monkeys, that's why. They throw sh*t all over the place and can carry diseases.

They're exotic and would be much happier in the jungle, and some of them can be extremely violent.
