Do the cast members know anything before the show? It seems as though they are prepared for certain games, such as Colin during the infomercial game.

Actually Improv is some of the best comedic timing. I'm sure they've thought about the games before hand and have thought of some good jokes and are prepped to an extent. But most of it comes from off the top of their heads.

Colin is my favorite due to his timing and wit.

There are some games, like the one where they dub the movies, where they've seen three or four clips beforehand and know that one of them is the one that's going to be used. It's also my understanding that the games are not exactly rehearsed, but they're played more than once so the performers can build on what works and throw out what doesn't.

I think they probably were told what the topics would be for the show, but the audience stuff seems to be off the top of their heads

sometimes it seems like it. like when they pick audience members to do a skit, i think they pick and talk to them during the commercial to make sure they want to do it.....but some of cant be planned. speaking of 3 hour block on right now! better go watch it!
