Do you think Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton should be role odels for young teenagers in this society

I do surveys for a living and was wondering if young girl and guys should follow, copy, and name celebrities like paris hilton or hilary duff as role models. Remember paris is a scandle machine, hilary is boney thin now, and lindsay lohan is ay to wild!

Clearly none of them should be role models for any kind of person especially young teenagers. Hilary Duff would be the best because yes, she is very skinny but she is innocent, isn't teaching children to do things that are considered wrong and is the most like an average person. And even though she is too skinny, she still isn't as skinny as paris hilton or as skinny as lindsay lohan use to be.
Lindsay Lohan definitely not what kind of like 20-ish year old role model has sex with 50 year olds?? and actually says that she isn't capable of staying in a relationship because (of course she used slightly different words) she likes having sex with a variety of people.
Paris Hilton: oh god, you'd be telling the kids to get stupider, do anything for attention, have sex with everyone and party every night!

Well, a lot of people have very different opinions about this. I think in some cases-yes, they would be good role models. But on the other hand, there's a lot of scandles involving those celebrities. They would be good role models when you think of how far they've come. They worked hard and were determined, and eventually their dreams came true. That shows young teenagers that with hard work they're dreams could come true too. But then, with all of the bad publicity and rumors going around, they might not be the people that kids should be looking up to. Paris Hilton is just a publicilty magnet- most of which are bad publicity. Hilary Duff is anerexic(sorry if I spelled it wrong). And Lindsay Lohan, dont even get me started on that girl. First of all shes anerexic too, she goes clubbing waaayyy too much. And, there are so many rumors about her on the radio, television, and even on the internet. In my opinion, sometimes, they might be good to look up to, but overall they're bad influences. I hope this answers your question.

Out of them i love Hilary Duff the superb. She's so proficient, plus she's a sweetheart :] I also like Miley Cyrus plenty, yet her blunders have earned her some haters. Lindsay Lohan is noticeably yet i'm no longer a huge fan. Ashlee Simpson is fantastic, i respect her music. Paris Hilton? Ew. She's a skank.

i don't think so. hilary is the type of girl that moms would love their daughters to be, but it's not normal for a girl to be such a goody-2 shoe. ok im not trashing hilary, because i am kind of like her in that aspect that i don't like to party or whatnot, but hilary seems FAKE. she's trying to be little miss perfect and i don't think thats who she really is. and she is a bit too much on the "safe" side of the bussiness. she still looks like she works for disney. she needs to take more risks, if she were to do that, then she would be a good role model.

on the other hand i think lindsay lohan is a bit more real with who she is and what she wants to acheve. she seems more ambicious and driven than hilary and she tries to challenge herself. which is what ppl should be drawn to. in my opinion.

now Paris, is a complete different story, i don't think paris knows what it's like to work hard for something, she has soo much money she really doesn't have to but she can't be a role model or someone for young girls to admire because not every girl if lucky enough to be given everything they please like paris does.

whether they want to be role models or not, they already are. young girls look up to the people they see on tv, in magazines, etc. what is important is that they also have real life role models. They need to see many examples to be able to find themselves- the bad and the good should all be there to see. Hopefully that will help them see all the different things people do (celebrity or not) and help them to make good choices based on others' experiences or their own.
