look at service providers before you think about a phone. look at the motorola Q, its a great phone but verizon disables its best features

gms phones are not the same . You want to make sure it is a quad band phone .4 frequecies , for better reception and travel with coverage . Motorola is one of the biggest sellers but as I am in the wireless field I can advise you it has the most biggest complaints over all :)nokia actually gets overall good feedback form its users
