I imagine it would help if you were already masturbating so that you were familiar with your anatomy.

I think I know why you're asking. Maybe you have a young girlfriend and you're asking for her.

I am talking now of personal experience.

I started masturbating as a child, many years before my period started. When I got my period, I discoverd it while I was masturbating....
.... that was very disgusting....
Just as a proof that many girls also masturbate at a young age.

If a girl masturbates, she knows her body better than a girl that doesn't. I heard many questions like "where to put the tampon" - this is just weird. I also just read a question about that here.... and I answered this girl that she should masturbate to learn more about her body.

But really, using a tampon has nothing to do with masturbation itself. Using a tampon has in general no pleasing factor. It's not really great to use tampons, you just have to.

The first time, it could hurt a little, but the girl should carefully read the instructions in the box of the tampons.
Then it will be alright.

what kind of question is this? lmao. It's VERY easy the first time to insert a tampon. And you don't have to be masturbating to already know! Girls sometimes start using tampons when they are 10 and 11, I doubt that they would be masturbating then!!

Wowsa! Are you going to try a tampon? Is that why you're asking? You don't want to get toxic shock syndrome and DIE like Kenny on South Park. And seriously, masturbating and tampons together in the same question coming from a guy is TOO much. Gross. You've ruined masturbation for me for the rest of the week. (Thank God it's Friday.)

Masturbation does not necessarily include inserting anything into the vagina for most younger females. And for that matter many adult females either. Its all about the clitoris. Yes the first tampon can be uncomfortable but Vaseline ky jelly helps a lot.

masturbation...tampon....masturbation....tampon....ewwwww, sorry just not the two most complimentary thoughts....no, not really...following the instructions on the box helps...seriously...read the instructions...but if there is discomfort, like a pinch or raw feeling, the tampon is either too big, or you didn't put it in far enough....really, i can honestly say that masturbation while offering ample anatomical exploration, does not really aid in tampon insertion....so ha!

One word! GROSS....

seriously though if you really must know...it doesn't really hurt, and its really easy, insert part A into slot B...not that hard, a very simple procedure, but since you're asking you must not have alot of experience with such kind of insertions...cause its the same concept...

it get naturally wet during masterbating and the wet that comes out is very sticky n slimy,so inserting a tampon is very easy, it just slides inside and comes out easy to . women use tampons to masterbate when there is a shortage of mans dick during that period. Its not that satisfactory but serves the desired purpose.

As a very well behaved 11 year old, the first time was horrible and I couldn't go through with it. It's not as easy as men think - believe me!

It wasn't easy my first time, but I was sticking it in my stink tube instead of up my noony. After I found the right hole, it was easy.

just so you know, a tampon is very different from a finger.
see, a tampon is not used for... uh, pleasuring, and the whole point is to get it so you can't feel it in there.
so... it's pretty hard.
trust me, i know from experience.
