The egg was created by chicken scientists during the great Poultry-Pork wars in the year 9595. The first eggs were used in stealth strikes against the military compounds of the chickens' mortal swine enemies. It was only after the tides of war began to turn in the pigs' favor that eggs were used in a reproductive capacity. The chickens sent their children into the stars encased in the white ovids in a hope that they would find a new planet where their race could prosper. The eggs landed on Earth and cracked open, and for a time the chickens lived in peace.
So the chicken came first, but the egg was first in coming to Earth.

The egg came first. From evolution, first came the fish, then amphibians, then reptiles. The reptiles were the first to lay eggs with a hard shell (to protect the embryo from the land environment).

Birds evolved from reptiles. If you look at the feet/legs of a chicken, you will be reminded of reptilan scales. This is the residual evolutionary clue. And so, the egg DEFINITELY came first; then the chicken, followed by "why did the chicken cross the road" jokes.

Theoretically, the egg came first. Since you didn't specify what kind of egg, it is safe to say that the egg came first. There were dinosaur eggs, right? Chickens didnt evolve until millions of years later. The difference between animals and mammals. . . animals lay eggs, mammals give live birth. Some dinosaurs were animals and some were mammals. A chicken however is definately an animal !

Its all evolution, and has nothing to do with God. Dinosaurs were around long before other animals.

The egg. Life on the earth has reached its current diversity through evolution, so the first "chicken" was the result of genetic changes from one generation to the next. The first living organism that we would call a chicken hatched from the first egg carrying the DNA instructions to produce that chicken.

the chicken came first and not cause got created the chicken if anyone says that it is dumb because it can not be proven at all but because of evolution when fish came onto land little by little animals started to develope so the chicken came to be and through evolution mating became possible (before all organisms were asexual meaning the reprodced on their own) so once mating was possible the egg came

Well, Studies have shown that life started with a single cell organism. This was figured by the adaptation that they grew to multiple cellular which were mammals. So the correct answer would be "The chicken came before the egg.

A chicken and an egg are lying in bed.

The chicken is leaning against the headboard smoking a
cigarette with a satisfied smile on its face.

The egg, looking a bit peeved, grabs the sheet and rolls over and says,

"Well, I guess we finally answered THAT question!"

If you want a serious answer, I'd say the egg because chickens probably evolved from something else that laid eggs... another kind of bird or, further back, a kind of lizard.
