I started playing guitar without a pick, but then I started to use one. I wan't some advice on whether I should keep learning with a pick, or since Im better without a pick, not use it anymore.

The plain fact here is that if you want to play without the pick, and feel more comfortable and better without it, then by all means continue that way. There is no requirement for you to play with one, and the plain fact is that in the long run, there is so much more you can do without one then with one. I can do either, and have beenfor decades. I can attest to this.

playing without a pick is easy. Just make your hand how you would when holding a pick, except use the nail of the pointer finger. Don't hurt your nail or the strings. Also, I would start with the basics: chords and scales. And you didn't say what kind of music you like, so i can't really give you a song. sorry/

I am a guitar teacher and you can do it either way. They are different techniques. Suchas classical and folk are fingerstyle and say modern rock is typically with a pick. Picks are good for chords fingerstyle is good for individual notes or arppegiated runs things of that nature. Good luck to you and don't give up.

it's good to learn both. I perfer a guitar oick, it readuces the chance of guitar burn and it makes the sound better. Easier to play too.

I would practice both. They are two different styles and sometimes you need one instead of the other to fit the song.
