If it is white that could be a good sign- however, if it has the consistance of cottage cheese, you may have a yeast infection. If you have a sensitivity to underware your body may be reacting to your underware. If you haven't tried this yet- try wearing only white cotton panites. I know they aren't cute but they have less dyes and irritants. You need to wear a pad with underware- it is what holds them securley in place. Your body may also be getting ready for your first period. If you notice any reddish brown discharge that is a sign- that is what your period will look like at first.
If your vagina is itchy at all you should really talk to mom or another adult- you may have an infection that a doctor needs to give you medicine for- like a yeast infection. If your discharge is thick and white, with no offensive odors and no itching- chances are you are fine. You might want to talk to your mom(I know this can be ridiculously uncomfortable) or an older sister or cousin- they ay be able to help you.

Do not use tampons for discharge. What do you mean when you say you have a sensitivity to underwear? If you're allergic, you could buy normal 100% cotton underwear (w/o the latex strap or whatnot). Discharge before getting a period is perfectly normal, but only up to a certain point. If you think yours if obviously too heavy (I wouldn't know), you should go see your doctor.

The best advice I can give you is to go and get checked AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! I'm not trying to scare you but it can be a number of things. Some discharge is normal and some are not. It could be that you have a yeast infection, pregnant, STI/STD, BV, infection...etc. I could go on and on naming the possilbe things it could be. Honestly, dont be scared of the doctors office, yes not all news is good news but you need to know. But if it is something, then you want them to give you prescription for whatever it is ASAP. If any infection, disease, or whatever is left untreated that could cause other things not go wrong. You never know whats going on inside your body but your body gives you signs when something isnt right. Then again, if could be just normal discharge or you may be pregnant. Before I found out I was pregnant, I had a heavy discharge, it was white and didnt have any smell to it but I was scared that my boyfriend had gave me something. When I went and got a check up to see what it was, he did give me something, a healthy baby to come in January2007.

it's normal! i started my period when i was 13. i had discharge for about 3 years before i started my period. doctors say it's normal to not have your period when you're 12. but if you're 14 or 15 and you haven't started your period yet, consult your physician! what kind of fabric are sensitive to? if you're sensitive to cotton then get silky underwear and then you can wear pantiliners, you don't have to wear pads. or, you could just try light tampons. hope i helped!
discharge is supposed to be kinda white and creamy...btw im 13!

Sounds like a yeast infection.or std if you are sexually active.See a doctor to be sure.In the meantime avoid soaps and perfumes in that area.If it is a yeast infection, putting some yougurt in there will help.I know it sounds gross, but yogurt has the right kind of bacteria in it.You can get a yeast infection from washing away too much or all of the good bacteria. But you should see a doctor to be sure.

I think the same happens to most females during ovulation. It has happened to me every month since I got my period. It seems to be pretty normal, but if it smells really bad, then you should go to the doctor. Panty liners always work great for me, they are ultra thin and you really can't even feel them.

do you maybe have a yeast infection? i would mention it to my family doctor who might tell you to see a gynecologist...dont worry...you are not a freak...i have heavy discharge and its like white cream sometimes...just happens and i dont know why ...maybe your body is preparing itself for your period...as long as you are not itchy or in any pain i think it is ok...but i am not a doctor...maybe if you are embarassed to tell your doctor or mom check out www.webmd.com and search for an answer there....put in vaginal discharge in the search...GOOD LUCK...
