Are you bored of this whole "celebrity" culture there seems to be a new celeb mag out every week and a new "celeb" born every minute.
Do we really need to know details of their personal lives or what they wear on the beach?

Magazines publish what people want to read. Truth or lies. It does not matter. As long as it is what people want to read.

So, from the magazines I see in the stores; people WANT to read everything about celebrities. Even if most of what is written is lies!

How many "secret" meetings can Brad Pitt and Anniston get together? IF they were "secret," how did the magazine find out?

Nothing but lies. But who cares? People want to read it.

Ii wouldn't mind if magazines actually covered real celebrities, but they don't, they do acticles on people who have just won or been in a reality programme, they are not celebrities, people have to earn a place in our hearts, they should have had achieved something, these wannabees just sit around in a house for a few months and when they come out, they have a whole new world - why what have they done - nothing - thank goodness it usually only lasts a couple of months and then they fizzle out of favour - these people would turn out to the opening of an envelope if they thought it would get them in the papers - it is madness

I was bored with the celebrity culture thing a long time ago. I'm tired of having other people's business thrown up in my face when I can't even get the details of my own business all of the time. People just need to realize that they have their own problems and just need to pay attention to that, so that they will live better.

I'm really bored of it!!!

There's some real news out there, but the front pages of the papers are taking up with what the footballers wives are getting up to in germany!! Who bloody cares??

Why are celebreties paid so much money? Film stars earn around something like £8 million for a 2 hour film. Yes it might take 6 months to film, but that's 6 months in an exotic location with people fighting hand and foot to brush their hair, cook them food, put make up on them etc etc.

MAKES ME SICK.

There are about 30 blockbuster films a year, starring probably 4 big time stars per film. That makes it around £960million a year being wasted. That amount of money would help our NHS out on a yearly basis.

We need to get our priorities right. If it wasn't for the NHS people wouldn't have an eye sight to watch TV.
Need I go on?

yes. sometimes, I could not care less or really give a rat's *** about what this star wore and what that one is wearing. Really, I don't. I got enough problems of my own to worry about.
You know like do I have enough for rent? Do I need to go food shopping this week? My God, why did car insurance go up-again? Would a 20 do the job to fill half of my tank?
You know-the little things in life that gives you agita!

Yes We should concentrate on our own lives and stop watching Cribs with some new-money-person and no tact or language skills. Do most of these celebs actually give anything back to society?

Actually celebrities don't bore me. If I admire an actor, for example, I want to know more about what he or she is like. And, I am afraid that I like gossip. Now perhaps that is because I don't have much of a life myself that I could delight in someone else's misfortune. What can I say about misery?

Yes, I've been bored with the whole celebrity thing that's why I stopped buying magazines and really don't pay attention to their personal lives.

YES!!! beyond bored. I cant believe anyone cares about who's wearing what and who's breaking up. If they spend the same amount of time interacting with other people that they spend on the gossip they could have a great life too.
