Why are there so many people on welfare that are not disabled and are health enough to work?

Because there are so many wealthy Republicans (who enjoy getting their oh-so-nice tax cuts that they don't need) that many people who are trapped into poverty because of the social problems they face everyday feel they have no other choice but to get their "fair share". I don't blame them. Welfare was originally designed to be a lever to help and then to help push these individuals into society when they could function and provide for themselves. This is no longer possible because of George W. Bush, inflation, $3/gallon gas, increased living expenses, and the cycle of poverty that increases more and more everyday. DON'T YOU REALIZE THAT THERE ARE MORE AND MORE PEOPLE IN LOWER CLASS AND THE GAP BETWEEN UPPER AND LOWER CLASS GROWS EVERYDAY?!?! The only difference between you and those MENTALLY disabled (because of the pressures society inflicts on them each day) people who critique are really the same as you? You're only a paycheck away from disaster so I would judge yourself before judging a whole group of people you know nothing about. My father is disabled and legitimately so. So before you start to class a whole group of people as lazy or whatever you were inferring, I would look over yourself with a fine-toothed comb before asking another question like this. To me, this is like calling all blacks stupid or all jews cheap or all whites stupid. Good luck.

Marxism has been trying to overthrow our government for some time now. One of the techniques they use is to try and turn our mores against us by taking them to ridiculous extremes.

Welfare is a good example. For a long time now, they have tried t bankrupt our economy by increasing the load of non-productive people as much as possible. They try to get as many people as they can on welfare, hoping to crash the system.

One method of doing this is to infiltrate various school systems and make sure that blacks don't get an acceptable education. That's why so many of them can't read and are more likely to go to prison then be employed. It's by design. The idea here was that those people would go on welfare or suck money out of the system in other ways....like crime.

One method that has become very popular is abusive immigration. They create a situation where illegals can easily get in (to the tune of 1 to 2 million a year) and make sure the people coming are of a particularly nasty and criminal mean. At best, they go on welfare, further taxing the system. But often, they have an incredible cost associated with them in the form of rape, robbery, murder, racketeering (gangs) and drug dealing. That's why although illegals are 2% of our population, they are 35% of our prison population. The important thing to understand is this has been done on purpose by liberal (marxist) scum in an attempt to crash our economy.

Legal immigrants are nearly as bad and the increases in legal immigration have been ridiculously large. It is almost 10 times what it was during the great migration phase of US history. Most of those people do not want to assimilate and nearly half immediately go on welfare.

Anyway, remember this when you are talking to liberals. Liberals are evil and they want to hurt YOU. The welfare system is just one sign of what they are doing. They must be stopped....or else. Or else, you may wake up one day and be sent off to a gulag to die, like hundreds of millions of other people who have experienced the "utopia" of a government guided by marxism. That's pretty much the end goal of liberals and it is important that they be dealt with based on this understanding.

When I say they are evil. I mean it.

There are several reasons. Some people are disabled in ways that are not obvious such as arthritis or mental disabilities. For some it is drug addiction, a terrible scourge of our society and something that is terribly hard to break. Some are needed to care for family members who are disabled and have no one else. Some are ex-felons who have a terrible time getting a job. There are huge numbers of these in this country. Even if they are now clean and sober and ready to work, employers are often reluctant to hire them (understandably). So if it bothers you to pay your taxes for other people who seem healthy, think about how we as a society can help these different kinds of people get jobs so that they can support themselves.

There is not an incentive to get off of welfare!! Welfare should be limited to four years max, one time assistance during your life time, and automatic removal if you have children while on the program. I say four years because anyone who does not wrk and has an income given to them should be able to either find a job or get a college degree in 4 years.
