I don't believe that there is a certain time period in which you tell someone how deeply you feel for them. You can talk to her about how she feels about marriage and that will give you a feel for her reaction if you were to actually ask her. If you are going on only a week or even a couple of months, I would say that it is way too early. Open lines of communication should give you the answers that you want. Good luck!

I would wait at least two years. That will give you enough time for you to see some of her true colors. In dating relationships we always put on an act. (i.e. agreeing with you constantly, listening to you ramble on and still smile) You want to make sure that you can get along even when things are rough and that she's not a total drama queen.

I think a year is a good waiting period; if you can sustain and strengthen your serious relationship that long and you both are still in love and want to make it permanent then pop the question. Anyways what is your hurry?

My granny used to say that people change with the seasons. You should give it a year to see how she'll change over time. If you still aren't sure, wait until you are totally ready to make that commitment.

Wait until you are ready. The time in the relationship is different for everyone. Don't go by months go by how you feel about eachother.
