I just started temping this month and i'm so confused as to what's going on. Before i started temping FF gave me estimated dates of when i would ovulate. First it was around the 6,7,8 of this month. I wasn't temping then...once it got enough temps it moved the ovulation date on me to the 16th...they did that around the 21st. So at first i was supposed to start AF a week ago...but when all the info changed it changed AF to possible tomorrow or the 2 days following. My test date is on the 5th. I have been cramping really bad the last 3 like AF cramps but the last week i have had terrible terrible cramps and my stomach feels really tight. I don't ever have cramps until i actually start AF. But i feel like i would if i had it. My nipples are the only thing that hurt right now...my boobs don't hurt at all. My back hurts though...i'm trying not to lift heavy things at work so i don't hurt myself in case i am pg. I'm afraid to test yet because i don't want to be disappointed but the cramp kind of worry me. I got off of the pill in March and my cycles were as follows...32 days, 34 days, 35 days. So it was pretty regular all on its own. Now i'm at cycle day 42 and 14 DPO. What do all of you think about this? Any Ideas? Is it possible for my cycle to be all messed up now even the the first three were perfectly fine?

Yep. It is possible for you cycle to be messed up. Its also possible that you are pregnant. The only way you will know is if you take a test. If you're 14 DPO, you should be able to get a positive. If you still get negative, wait a week and then test again.

The more we stress about TTC, the more our cycles get messed up...which leads to more stressing, leading to more crazy cycles. Its vicious! good luck to you!!! I had 3 normal 29 day cycles after the passing of my son. Then I got really serious about trying, and they haven't been normal since. I'm now on day 76, and still no positive hpt or af. I'll be seeing my doc soon, but they doesn't even see you until its been 3 months of missed cycles, I'll probably have to have a shot to bring on af again. Hopefully that doesn't happen to you!!!

Here's some information on early pregnancy cramping. It's actually quite normal and nothing to worry about:

"Mild cramps, achiness or a pulling sensation on one of both sides of the abdomen is usually nothing to worry about. This is probably caused by the stretching of ligaments that support the uterus. Unless cramping is severe, constant or accompanied by bleeding, there's no need to worry."

If you are not pregnant, I think you're body is definetely trying to regulate itself. I don't think the cycle lengths that you mentioned before were very regular - I classify regular as having the same number of days in one's cycle. Many women without a regular menstrual cycle are not ovulating, so you may want to also try Ovulation Predictor Kits.

I don't think it is too early for you to test at all. Most pregnancy tests claim to be able to detect if a woman is pregnant as early as 5-7 days before an expected period. Some women do have to wait until the day their period is due, or even a few days after to get an accurate result though. I think that you should wait until tomorrow, when your AF is supposed to be due. Then test with your first morning urine.

I'm going to include the link to a trying to conceive forum that I think you might find useful. It's full of supportive women with boundless knowledge about these issues. I learnt so much there that I doubt I would have learnt otherwise.

It depends on your cycle if your a 28 day cycle you ovulate 10-14 days from the 1st day of the beginning of your mensus. Yes your periods can be all messed up when you stop taking the pill.
That's why they say wait about 6mnths after... This way here you can be sure there will be no side affects in a pregnancy from taking birth control

you probable aren't any more pregnant. If it became secure, then you definately are probable fantastic, yet i say probable because the condom would have broke, etc. in case you had sex a pair days earlier christmas, you could anticipate to save getting unfavorable consequences from a being pregnant try until eventually that is been 4 complete weeks (besides the undeniable fact that some checks can hit upon it 5 days until eventually now) so i does no longer anticipate it to pop out effective that you're until eventually the top of january. also, if you're lower than pressure out or somewhat anxious you're, it may delay your era. I lower than pressure out alot a pair months in the past that i'd be pregnant and it not on time my era for 3 weeks from the date it would have surpassed off. So that is okay to nonetheless flow to the health practitioner, yet i'd guess you're fantastic, or if you're pregnant, you'll comprehend by utilizing the top of this month. strong success!
