There are several Presbyterian denominations in the U.S. and I served on the board of directors of a church in the largest Presbyterian denomination in the U.S, called Presbyterian Church (USA). The Bible is very clear on a number of issues, including that homosexuality is wrong and that marriage is between a man and a woman. PCUSA also has a church constitution called the Book of Order that prohibits clergy to marry gay couples. If you don't like the beliefs, find another denomination.

I'm not sure about the Presbyterian Church in particular, but I know that in the USA each church or denomination can decide its own rules for administering sacraments like marriage, baptism, ordination, etc. For example, the Episcopalian church ordains women while the Roman Catholic does not; the Unity Church marries same sex couples, while the Southern Baptist Church does not. And so on.

How can any religion that utilizes the bible condone gay marriage when the bible speaks against it? It is an abomination. It is impossible for any religion who follows the guide lines set forth in the bible to marry gay couples because marriage is the union of a man and a woman. Simple as that. I am a Christian man and I love everyone, including gays and lesbians. How a person chooses to live his or her life is up to them but when people try to make a mockery of the bible that's when the Caveman has to put his club down. Peace.
