Roseanne all the way baby! she is freaking hilarious! that show is my fave and i watch it when i ever i have a chance!

Roseanne by far. More realistic. Love the show. Don't get me wrong I watched cosby to and like it. But, Roseanne comes closer to home.

OMG Roseanne, no contest. I like Cosby show about as much as the next 90s kid, but I watch Roseanne now that I'm older and the jokes make so much sense and she reminds me of my own mom (in a good way!)

Roseanne. They were more down to earth. The Cosby show characters acted like they NEVER had financial trouble before. They were soo phony!

Did you ever notice that you never saw either family clean the house and Roseanne's house looked like it and the Cosby's looked like they had a maid.

They were both wonderful innovative shows in their eras. However, I would choose The Cosby Show as the better show. When I watch the reruns, particularly those from the early seasons, I find them very funny. I think Cosby has more longevity potential. Good Question!
