i liked it of course. and yeah, i was talking about the original dark water - the japanese film? there was this good emotional element in the original movie that saddens people in a way. but the remake? i thought it was horrible. i'm not opposed to hollywood re-doing some movies (horror, action, whichever genre they prefer) but sometimes, some movies work better in the countries where they originated mainly because of tradition, societal beliefs, and history - like ringu (the ring), ju-on (the grudge), shall we dansu (shall we dance), il mare (lake house), and this one.

I liked it. But i was kind of similar to "The Ring". At some points, the story really touched me and i almost cried. Like in the end, after Dahlia died and Kyle (Ceci's dad) comes to pack everything and take Ceci away, Ceci was just standing there in the empty livingroom, and she was recalls her mom and her sitting on the couch, reading a book. That part touched me. Overall, the movie was okay.

I expected the movie to be better. It was kind of boring. The title made it sound so scary but it's not that good.

I didn't. It was the worst movie I've ever seen. It was a complete waste of film.
