i have hazel eyes, medium thick dirty blonde/dark gold hair, beige/fair normal/combo skin with some freckles, and a heart shaped face (this might be more information than needed, but i think it helps to get a better idea of what i look like), and i'm looking for the best eyeliner for me - color, style, brand or any advice you may have for me - i haven't done so well with eyeliner in the past, but i'm trying to change that. any and all (good) advice would be much appreciated, so thank you.

Brown liner and black mascara. No black eyeliner...ever!

The best thing to do on ANY face is to use a liquid black eyeliner...and when applying it, you should apply as thinly as possible. Above that apply a thin layer of white eyeliner. This brightens your eyes and takes the focus off of ANY problems you might think you have. If the eyeliner is dry or applies roughly...lightly melt it with a lighter...this will cause it to apply much more smoothly. Good luck. One thing to always remember is that the more you dress up your eyes, the more you need to dress down your lips. If you plan to wear a bright lipstick, play it low key on the eyes with a light brown shadow and NO eyeliner. Just mascara will do when lips are bright.

Try to use a shade that is a few shades darker than your natural hair color. Also, I have avoided using pencil or liquid eyeliner, which can be hard to control and can smudge easil, use shadow instead. Go to a MAC counter in Nordstroms and ask them to try a few dark shades: such as espresso or Charcol. Ask them to apply it using a small, narrow, angled brush. It's fun and easy and by using shadows instead of liquid or pencils, the possibilities are endless and you can really see what shade works best for your face. Good luck!

I think a brown pencil eyeliner would be fine. The brown will bring out the hazel in your eyes and keep them looking natural.

Start out applying lightly to bottom and top of eye, for definition. Make it a little darker on the outside corner of the eye. and then blend lightly with your shadow.

They key is to bring out your eyes without making them look made up. I hope that makes sense.
Any of the cosmetic companies websites should be able to help.

i would go with a medium-dark brown, it intensifies the hazel in ur eyes, use covergirl or try some avon eyeliner if u know someone that sells avon, they have good eyeliner and a lot of choices, just don't get any pencil liner. add a little pink eye shadow too.

I say use the pencil eyeliner that twist up as a replace of sprucing for the interior of your eyes. Liquid/gel for on good (your lashline) and kohl or pencil for in basic terms your eyes (if u ever positioned eyeliner below your eyes,no longer in basic terms interior the waterline)

Dark brown is nice but so is a dark brownish-purple or plum, made by Bobbi Brown, this help to bring the green out in hazel eyes. They make it in pencil or gel.

I would think that a liquid eyeliner would work best, and either get it in black, charcoal or gold. I think gold would look just fabulous on you! Gold would really mesh well with your hair color and your eyes, how pretty!

you should use dark green shades or from light to dark brown shades, but the best would be a medium brown. that works for real good. for a dramatic look try black or dark purple....Oh and if you do dark eyes, your lips should look simple: just a shiny gloss in a nude or pink shade...
