You are lucky if you cannot afford Coke. The drink is garbage and you should not drink it. Try fruit juice or something else that is healthy, even water, anything but soft drinks. They insult you when they charge you money for drinking crap.

You are mistaken.
The asking price of Coke should be of no concern to ANYONE who thinks it is too expensive. Expensive houses, real estate, insurance, furniture, electronics, cars, vacations, travel, clothing, etc. would ALLLLLLL be much cheaper AND American Made if the consumer would STOP buying so much darned stuff they don't need and work harder and save more money in the BANK!!!!
Now, people are being stupid enough to pay too much for a house in hopes that another sucker 2 years from now will pay even MORE !!!!! People's savings are wrapped up into a house that is being taxed out the wazoo and falling apart every day. And if/when the economy goes sour it will wipe MILLIONS of people out, financially.
It's BACK-ASSWORDS, people.
You want cheap gas?? Stop driving.....gas will plummet in price within 2-3 weeks. Want cheaper air-fares?? Don't fly for a year and the prices will go down.
Wanna save some money??? Work 5 hours a week longer, don't have ANY credit debts.... no credit cards, NOTHING ...save money in the bank or a mutual fund or Treasuries.
Buying cheaply-made stuff we don't really need at too high a price has made our country sick. It is dying of, what I call, Malignant Consumerism.
Prices go up with DEMAND. Let's hit them where it hurts.
STOP BUYING STUFF !!!!!!

Like Dr. Phil says: Because they can
But we are getting into a situation like mexico.
A corrupt government rules with big business interests.
You have the super rich and the dirt poor.
The poor are worst than slaves because they cannot make enough money to afford housing , food, clothes and medical.
It is getting that way here. While not being able to raise the minimun wage to help poor people, these same politicians got 9 huge raises in their wages. They said to raise the min. wage would cause wide spead unemployment. That is so untrue
The big business just wouldn't make so much and poor people could live.

Just don't buy that crap is the answer.
Yes , they will charge what they can get , and throw away any that is going stale, to keep the prices high, instead of selling it cheaper, even while people starve. It can make someone think about things sometimes.

Well let's see...you're on the Internet (that costs money), you're on a computer (that cost money), I won't assume that you smoke or drink, but they cost money too. Kids cost money, and so do movies and T.V.'s and ipods and cell phones. So if all these things that people WANT BUT CAN'T AFFORD are making you poor and you can't afford to live...then don't blame big business or the government, blame yourself.

You must be kidding! Put another layer of aluminum foil on your head. I think Bush is reading your thoughts. If capitalism is such a problem for you, try Cuba. It is a worker's paradise.

don't forget... these are the same "moral conservatives" that are always saying "what would Jesus do"... the first thing he would do would be to turn to big business and tell them to stop screwing over the poor, not only in this country, but in overseas sweatshops...
