Both teams were outstanding, I enjoyed every minute of the game... I really loved it! I was rooting for Argentina and I am disappointed that it had to end this way, I mean in penalty shots, that sucks! But it's OK, Argentina played amazing and it's too bad that their GK got hurt! Oh well, now Italy has to beat Germany which should be easy because they've played a friendly game against them, and won.. who knows!
Both deserved to win, but Argentina played a beautiful game!

im sorry but i cant stand taht u think that germany did an amazing job...the referee was totally on their side and the players took advantage on that..they hurt the players..leaving argetnina without theri goalie who in all the games of this world cup let in 1 goal only...germanys goal was when they had the other goalie who wasnt nearly as good as abbondanzieri..so i think that germany did not do an amazing jobb..they won mostly out of luck and i dont think that they played as amazing as you think they did..i thinkit was a tought game but argentina played more amazingly than germany did ...a lot more and they deserved to win after that match..
and by the way lilly..they cried because they were overwhelmed by the fact that they gave it all in that match and lost even tho they played better and cambiasso cried because unless you didnt know he had a personal problem that he had been dealing with for over 2 months and then losing.. i think if ur world fell apart youd bee weeping more than him and you should respect him for being able to cry in front of so many people wihtout feeling that slightest twinge of embarasment...thats a real man...worthy of wining the world cup

I think Argentina should have won. The German team wasn't better (complain all you like, but the great Mannschaft couldn't break the 1-1 deadlock even WITH home support and a referee on their side!), the goalie was. And that's only because Klose took out Argentina's #1 goalie--who, by the way, is a PK specialist. Coincidence? HA!

Yes, Germany did not play good football for most of the game.

It pretty much was anybody's for the taking. Neither of the teams really outshined each other. It was pretty even. I was surprised Germany didn't play better to be honest. They were better at penalty kicks that's for sure though. The goalkeeper is pretty tight. Overall not a bad match. I guess the better side won.

Yes. It was clear the referee's decision to be on Germany's side, and the possesion of the ball was mostly Argentina's.
But so it goes, someone always has to lose, even the better team.

i wish, but they did not. I did not like how the refree controlled the game. Argentina lost today to their coach with bad subsitutions.

ya i think they should have, but then both teams were unlucky that they had to face eachother in quaterfinal rather than later on in the tourny, so Germany kinda has to win or they're gonna be really embarrased
