Butterflies can migrate back to the very same bush, animals can navigate 1000s of miles, birds know how to make nests. Is it physically implanted in the brains? Seems like angels may just be putting inspiration and direction into the minds all the time. If I had a chance to ask a knowing being.

That is a very interesting question, but while most would say that the spiritual realm does not exist and is therefore neither logical nor scientific; I would disagree because I believe in the spiritual realm, and I think science would do well to acknowledge it as well. However I highly doubt it is spiritual, I believe that mankind has instincts similar to that of animal's. For instance the instinct to survive which includes seeking other human contact, food, home, etc...I do not believe that any of these things are spiritual, i think it is innate. It is natural, without contact a human will go insane. Likewise animals have innate knowledge to reproduce, to build homes, in essence to survive. The intricate and often drastic differences between how an animal may execute these natural urges is what separates them from each other, in other words what creates a sort of individuality. The weaver bird from the buzzard, the monarch from the moth, me from you, my neighbor from yours etc...So no, it is not spiritual, but The Spirit, the Designer is definitely a genius, that or the Big Bang was extraordinarily lucky in its timing.

Animal Instinct is a primitive psychological urge to do something. It is hard wired to the brain, like the only instinct that a human displays is the "sucking instinct" that an infant shows at birth.
