There is this guy at work. we have a good time together and joke around. Alot of sexual comments to each other and friendly flirtation. That is where it stops though, he is def. not dating material, he is a PLAYER. And same for him,i am not his type. We just have a great time. My problem? He is really nice when just me and him, but i work with all men at my job, and when in a group setting, he goes alittle to far, and says hurtful things. Or when I am flirting and working it with another guy he calls me out or makes rude or mean comments. Am I reading into this too much!? Like I said he is a sweet guy and we do have great talks when alone, but bring us in a group setting it goes down hill....jealous or macho??

This is what you do.... Next time he's mean to you in public, pull him to one side and say seriously, "The next time you do that, you're in for a surprise".
Then, if he ever has the balls to do it again, say in front of everyone, "OH, John/whoever, there you go again, getting all jealous! Didn't we all just talk about this??!!!"

Sounds like he is both. Doing all this sweet talking to him, and also flirting with him too. Then he see you out there, doing the same to other guys. You said he is a player, sounds like you are a player too.
If you don't want him, or he is not your type. Then you need to quit sweet talking and flirting with him. Maybe he taking it as a way, that you are interested in him.
Being macho, is a way of him getting back to you. He has no right doing it in front of ppl. But you and him needs to talk, and get everything straighten out.

Sweet guys don't make rude or mean comments in front of others. Who cares if he's jealous or macho or what he is! You can do better!! Also, ever here of sexual harassment? If he likes you and is not getting attention from you, he could end up reporting to you to HR!!

He may be jealous. I have a lady at work that I have a similar relationship with. Initially I was jealous when I found out that she was dating another, but now I get to tease both of them when they are together. I would try to talk to your friend when you are alone with him and set down the law.

he is a pure dumb-*** . he likes playing mind games with you and "NO DOUBT" other women as well. He is not dating material.
If he is making rude, mean comments to you in front of people and alone with you, he is playing Macho and is disrespectful towards you... he is not worthy of you nor any woman...

Sounds to me like he's jealous. He likes having your full attention and when he's not getiing it, he's hurtful. He can't be all that sweet if he treats you like that.

of course he's jelouse... even if your not in a relationship, you still have a "relationship" with him, and he probably feels he doesnt get the same amount of your attention when others are around.
