Someone in my fantasy league offer me this trade.
I would get A. Soriano & K. Griffey Jr.
I would give up Jason Bay & Scott Kasmir

As much as I like Griffrey he is an injury risk all the time so I would go against it for that reason because if Griffrey goes down then you are in trouble. Although Soriano may be worth it alone.

Soriano is the best fantasy player right now, and Griffey has hit a home run in 4 straight games. Kasmir is a very good pitcher but I think you can afford to give him up. Bay is good but, he's on and off. Accept it.

Is this a 5x5 league? How many teams? Who would Soriano replace at 2B? What pitcher would you add? What hitter would you drop? What place are you in in steals? Strikeouts?

My advice is to not listen to any advice you get here unless you give more information. This could be a good trade or a bad trade depending on the above questions.

Take it!!! Soriano is one of the best in the game, and Griffey can be extremely valuable IF he stays healthy.
Bay and Kazmir are both excellent talents, but sometimes you have to give something to get something.

Very interesting deal. Depending on the rest of your pitching staff, I'd do that deal.

Soriano counteracts the loss of SB's w/ Bay & the run/HR/RBI production would be about the same. I see Griffey putting together a very nice 2nd half.

Yes. Soriano has been really really good and Griffeys starting to come back. Bay seems to be driffting away.

I would take it because Kasmir is going to have more bad days than good ones because he plays for the rays

i agree with danceman. it is all relative to what kind of league your in. where you are in particular standings. these are the worst kind of questions, right up there with WHO WINS THIS TRADE? its not about winning a trade its about winning the league. and you do that by bulding the most balanced team thats good enough to dominate a few categories.
