Are there anyone women out there who regret having a tattoo? I'm trying to talk my 18 year old sister out of getting a second one.

i'm 25, and have 4 tattoos. I don't regret any of them, but i can tell you this... if your sister is having ANY kind of doubt or getting one because a friend or someone else she knows has one tell her to NOT go through with it.
When I was 18, I thought I wanted one, then waited 4 years before I actually went through with my thoughts. Tell her to wait until she gets a little older because 18 year olds can do things out of impulse.. she might regret it when she's in her mid twenties... that's why I waited... to make sure that's what I truly really wanted.

My daughter in law is aiming for a full body, she tells me it is very addictive. Now she has a full back, both arms and one leg done. I am from a generation when only sailors did that. I love this girl dearly and she has a Masters Degree so she is no a dummy but I do have problems liking the tattoos.

Hair color will grow out. Multiple piercings will heal. Tatoos are forever. Maybe she should think about expressing herself in a less permanent way. We aren't young and carefree forever. Someday she might need to give the "right" impression to a person giving her a job (or not)

not a single regret. i love tattoos on boys. i love tattoos on girls. i only have one but i want a ton.

I don't have tatoos but this guy I was dating has a full back, full arm body tatoo. It turned me totally OFF. That's just my opinion
