Not Zyban, I've tried that.
I'm in the EU but my mom told me about a new one in the US--brand new RX pill.
Thanks everyone!

I'm there with you! I actually quit about 2 months ago, and then 2 weeks ago I was under a lot of stress and started back up again. I kept smoking one or two a day and kept telling myself, I'm not smoking again, I'll quit tomorrow, but I haven't. I think that you really, really have to want to quit. Not for your family, or your health, but just because you don't want to do it anymore. My dad, who is 54, quit a few weeks ago, and he has smoked since he was 16. He is using the patches. I'll pray for you and you pray for me! Good luck!

What I did once was I got the patch and stayed away from my friends that smoked for a week or two. You have to be ready though. The last time which just in December, I went cold turkey. It's working this time. Also my motivation was finding out that my 2 year old daughter has asthma. Good Luck!

I don't know if it works for everyone. I think it depends on your location. I stopped smoking when I started chewing bitter nuts. Sort of a substitution to the addiction. I personally think it also works if you take a vacation if you intend to quit. It helps if you are alone and find other things to do instead of having some people in your circle pressuring you. Just find a place where you find solemnity.

Are you talking about Zyban? Zyban is also an ingredient is the antidepressant Wellbutrin. My insurance doesn't cover Zyban alone but will for the antidepressant, I'm not at a full dose yet, but I don't smoke as much. Hope this helps!!

Wellbutrin XL is a quit smoking pill. It works really good for me until I start drinking wine.....then I want to smoke. If you have health insurance, your doctor needs to write the RX for depression otherwise most insurance companies won't pay for it. Good luck and hope you quit now!
