Yes, all men sometimes wake up erect. According to the research, it is very seldom a reaction to a wet dream (these occur during REM sleep, which is rarely right before waking).
As you sleep your body relaxes. As the night progresses most food gets digested. Just before waking, the heart rate increases. Blood from muscle and organ tissue is released, pumping through the arteries, swelling vascular tissue... boom! A guy gets erect. It has nothing to do with sex, or fantasies. Just a little fact of life.
It happens to women too (the nipples get hard). But it's not as noticable...

I havent met a man that hasent has the same thing happen. My husband wakes up like that alot. Its just something that happens with men. They dont even have to remember what they dreamed about to wake up with one. Its normal.

Well, I myself, don't have a penis, but my husband wakes up every single morning with a woody. He says that it just happens, whether he had an erotic dream or not.

Yes we do. Actually it is wired into us so we can't roll over and suffocate in the pillow. Think of this, we also can't roll over and start feeling you up while you are asleep.
