Acceptable certifying individuals include authorized employees of insured depository institutions and corperate central credit unions. Certification by a notary public is NOT acceptable.

I'm trying to open a Treasury direct account and I received an e-mail saying I have to mail in a form verifying my identity. Who is an acceptable certifying individual?

Thanks!
Robert

Rather than giving you a physical [paycheck, they will deposit it electronically in the bank..IT's generally a good idea, and a requirement of some businesses. Your check can't get lost, it saves money, and you know when your money is going to be available.
