Neither, I like shorts in between.
Around 2 to 3 inch inseam.

I don't like knee shorts. I do have some weird kind of capri-shorts that are just below the knee that I love though.
If by short shorts you mean daisy dukes or those shorts that are pretty much underwear, then no. My grandmother thinks my shorts are short shorts, but my Aunt and Mom say no. They are a bit shorter than mid length. My sis likes short shorts but then again she has "the perfect bikini body" according to my aunt.

I like knee shorts. But I think most girl jocks like knee shorts and, what I call, "girly-girls" like to wear short shorts.

most girls like short shorts but tomboys like knee shorts they like them short to show their figure but i do not wear shorts

Depends on your body type. I have fat thighs so I like a longer type pair shorts (just above the knee).

I like knee length shorts, they look better on me cause I'm not very tan :)
