To clear things up, both acts are heinous in nature and deserve just punishment. I am not trying to offend anyone and am not sick. I am mearly posing a question to get people to think on a deeper level than say an easy question would do. Example: what color hair do guys like best? Questions like this are stupid. So, I am sorry if this question is offensive, but it does cause one to think and think hard.

Can there be a worse of the two, both are extremely horrible situations. Nobody would want either. I would say let the ones who lost a loved one mourn for him, and pray that the murder gets what he deserves. I think the parents of a malested child, need to explain to the child they are still special, and loved very much still. Both situations will have negative affects on a person unless otherwise thought about.

I honestly don't think that you can compare the two. They are two different things, but if you want my opinion, I think it is worse to have your child molested because they will have to live with it the rest of their life, and it could really mess them up mentally. Plus, what did they ever do to deserve it. Now if you're asking because a loved one was murdered due to molesting a child, then they had it coming anyway. Anyone who looks at an innocent child as a sex object should be tortured, beaten and killed.

That depend on many things like who molested the child. And who the loved one was that died. If the child was molested by a close friend or family member it could be worse. Same with murder of a loved one, the closer the relationship between you and the murderer the harder it will be on you. It is easy er to think of a stranger doing thees things to us.

I don't know, nor do I care to spend much time contemplating it. I think having a child murdered would be the worst thing ever, especially if they were sexually assaulted first. I suppose it would depend on the loved one in question.

Would I rather lose my great aunt Mildred, who has lived a long and full life making everyone else's existence a living hell, to a violent home invasion; as opposed to some pervert molesting my 3 year old daughter who is so tiny we nicknamed her The Wee Pee? Take Aunt Mildred please.

While they both take something away from you and the victim, I think murder is worse. With murder, there is no chance to heal and try and make something good out of life.
I have three kids and if I had to choose, I would much prefer the molestation over murder. Molestation we can deal with through counseling and love, murder we can't.

Which is the best to eat an apple or a orange? Can you be a little pregnant? Is it better to be too tall or too short? You cannot answer such a question until you put it in proper prospective. If and when you do so, you will then have to decide for yourself

Molesting is definitely a lot worse. Cause then you know they'll have to live with the pain forever more. At least with a murder, their pain is done, and they'll never feel pain again.

Losing a loved one, you will never be able to see again. Your child being molested will scar them emotionally for the rest of their lives. Being molested is worse.
