I'm a single parent. I love my child so much. But I don't have much of a social life. I'm always working and taking care of my child. I'm not complaining because I think family come first. So all I have right now is my computer but I'm kind of new to this. Is this bad to meet people on line?

I honestly dont think its bad to meet on line just be carefull. I met my husband on line on a site. And now im married to him and we really love eachother. I got really lucky with him. I have never met someone that loves me and my kids soo deeply. I have 2 kids and I was feeling like you were too. I was tired of people using me and and I really didnt do anything sept work and take care of my kids. Then I started talking to this guy and went from there, and now im married to him and couldnt be more happy. Just be carefull and watch what you do, alot of people meet off line and end up happy and together. Good luck!!

It can be dangerous. It's like blind dating, but you don't have the benefit of knowing that the person you're meeting is the friend of a friend. If you MUST meet people that you've met on line, make sure to do so in a public place like a busy restaurant. DO NOT share personal identifying information like your last name, where you work, address, phone number, etc with someone on line. Remember that you are meeting a stranger, and like you tell your child, you should never talk to strangers.

I met some of my best friends on line. As for women, one was an absolute disaster. A train wreck that took a long time to escape. The other was my wife, whom I love dearly.
It's kind of like life. "You pays your money and you takes your chances."

its not bad per say, it can be very dangerous though. don't chat with someone one day and meet them the next. don't give out personal information and check out what they say. i used to chat in the same room all the time and several of the 'regulars' have married, they have chat parties where everyone meets in the same city and hangs out for their vacations, stuff like that, but they've all been chatting together a long time.

if you find someone you truely must meet say to them lets meet at the local Police department so we can both be checked out if he meets you maybe he,s not all that bad
